Grizzly Bear Mascot/Desktop Sculpture

This is my most recent wildlife sculpture casting of a grizzly bear (approximate size: 14 1/4" high x 8" deep x 18" long) where I wanted to explore an emerging form that dealt more with the animal's shape rather than the details so it would have plenty of surface area to show many different patinas and finishes.

Pictured above is a darkened bronze metal coating.

With this particular wildlife sculpture of a Grizzly Bear, I veered away from my normal style because I wanted form over details because I really wanted a smoother surface to experiment with different patinas and finishes. I still think that the form emphasizes the massiveness and the muscularity of this animal.
This will make a great desktop sculpture for any wildlife art lover.
